Refund Policy
Two different things, two different rules. The TradeDraft subscription: free for 30 days with no card, so you only ever pay after deciding to keep it; a period you've started isn't refunded, but you can cancel any renewal at any time. Document templates: one-off purchases through Payhip, downloaded instantly, so they can't be returned once the download starts — unless the file is faulty or isn't as described, in which case we'll put it right.
TradeDraft: 30-day free trial
TradeDraft starts with a 30-day free trial. You don't enter any card details to start the trial, so nothing is charged during it. If it's not for you, simply stop using it when the trial ends. You'll never be billed, so there's nothing to refund.
Paid subscriptions
To carry on after your trial, add a card before it ends. The plan is £45 per month or £450 per year (£22.50 a month, or £225 a year, for your first 12 months if you start by 5 April 2027), paid securely via Stripe. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to that price; prices are exclusive of any VAT that becomes chargeable, and we will tell you before any such change affects your bill. You can cancel at any time from your account: cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access to the end of the period you've already paid for. Because you only pay after trying the product in full, we don't refund a period you've already started, except where the law gives you a right to one — see "Your statutory rights" below. This applies to both monthly and annual plans, and the 30-day free trial covers both. There are two other exceptions. If we withdraw TradeDraft entirely, we'll give reasonable notice and refund any period you've paid for in advance. And if we tell you we're adding or changing a sub-processor — one of the companies that handles your customers' data on our behalf — you can object, and if we can't resolve your objection you can close your account and we'll refund any period you've paid for in advance.
Document templates
Our document templates are instant digital downloads. Checkout and card payment are handled by Payhip, our checkout provider and merchant of record. If you buy as a consumer you have a 14-day right to cancel, but it ends once your download starts, provided you asked at checkout for immediate access and acknowledged that you would then lose the right to cancel; your order confirmation records both. Once a file has been downloaded it can't be returned, so these purchases are non-refundable. The checkout total includes any VAT Payhip is required to charge for your location. If a file is faulty, won't open, or isn't as described, email us and we'll put it right or refund you.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here affects your statutory rights. TradeDraft is sold to businesses, and the 14-day right to change your mind is a consumer right, so for most subscribers it won't apply. If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from subscribing to change your mind. Because you ask us to start your access straight away at checkout, we can charge for the days you actually had access and we'll refund the rest. For template downloads, the right ends once the download begins only where you asked for immediate access and acknowledged losing the right at checkout. Where the right does apply, it operates on top of these terms and prevails over anything written above. Email us and we'll deal with it.
